We have particular expertise in the field of community cohesion.

Although the concept of community cohesion is very recent it is a very real issue in some parts of the country. Here some communities are segregated and living ‘parallel lives’ - living, being educated and socialising in separate places. Tensions may exist not only between different ethnic groups but also between young and old, different tenure groups and between those living in supported and other accommodation.  

We will help with strategies to establish integrated communities and resolve continued entrenched divisions between communities. We will also work with housing and regeneration organisations to assess the impact of their policies and working practices on cohesion in the neighbourhoods in which they work.
